"I chose Shane to illustrate my book, "Tricked," after reviewing the portfolios of a half-dozen artists. I decided that his style was perfect for that type of story, a Young Adult Halloween thriller. I sent him descriptions of the characters and scenes, and he emailed rough sketches to me to approve before he completed them. Turn-around time for each picture was reasonable, as were his fees. Then there is the eye-catching cover. The majority of people who approach me at book signings ask straight away: "Who did the artwork?" Very impressive! Shane is a great talent. I plan to use him for my next book, "The Hungry Monster," as well. "
